Here's how we handle the details you share with us, in plain English. The short version: we only use them to help with your heat pump enquiry, and we never sell or pass them on.
Wellington Home Heat Pumps only collects the details you choose to give us through our quote form: your name, phone number, email and suburb. We use them to reply to your enquiry and arrange your heat pump installation, and we never sell or share them. You can ask to see or delete what we hold at any time.
What we collect
When you fill in our quote form, we collect your name, phone number, email address and suburb, along with anything you choose to tell us in the message box about the work you need. That's all of it. We don't ask for information we don't need to give you a straight answer.
Why we collect it
We use your details for one thing: to help with your heat pump enquiry. That means getting back to you, talking through your options, arranging a site visit, and quoting and carrying out an installation. If we're already doing a job for you, we may also use them to keep you posted on it.
We don't sell or share your information
We don't sell, rent or trade your details to anyone, and we don't hand them to third parties for marketing. Your quote form comes straight to our own inbox at info@heatpumps-wellington.nz, not to a third-party lead service. The only people who see your information are us.
How we look after it
We keep your details secure and hold them only for as long as we genuinely need them, whether that's to finish your job, honour a warranty, or meet our record-keeping obligations. Once we no longer need them, we delete them.
Cookies and our website
Our website is a simple static site. It doesn't run advertising trackers, and the only personal information we collect is what you choose to send us through the quote form.
Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020
New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 gives you the right to see the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. Just get in touch and we'll sort it out, usually within a few days and at no cost.
